Beam developers are considering implementing the Lightning Network

The cryptocurrency privacy-oriented development team Beam has published a plan to create a Mimblewimble-compatible Lightning Network protocol.

Thus, the project representatives claim that the processing speed of transactions in the Beam network is three times higher than that of Bitcoin, but it still cannot compete with large processing. Decisions of the second layer, in their opinion, should increase the commercial attractiveness of the coin.

Earlier, Litecoin developers were interested in the implementation of the Mimblewimble protocol.

It is noteworthy that CEO Square Jack Dorsey also announced the upcoming support for the Lightning Network in the Cash App.
