A new record for the volume of trading bitcoin futures on the Chicago exchange CME

On the Chicago exchange CME a new record was set in terms of bitcoin futures . Investors acquired 33,677 contracts, up almost 50% from the last record of 22,500 futures, which was set on April 4. This writes RBC Crypto .
Each contract was equal to 5 BTC, so the total amount of sales amounted to 168,385 BTC, which is more than $ 1 billion. The rise in Bitcoin could activate institutional investors and draw their attention to financial instruments such as futures.
