    A large network of fast food in Australia introduced the ability to pay in cryptocurrency

    Recently, the Australian media reported that the fast-food Kebabs Origin began to take over the kebabs and other dishes from their menu cryptocurrency . Receiving payments carries Lightning network jointly owned with partially kriptobirzhe Binance Australian travel company TravelbyBit.

    Origin Kebab confirmed acceptance of payments in bitcoins in four Queensland stores – Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Westfield Chermside shopping center, in the suburb of Broadbeach and Eagleby.

    In addition to Bitcoin, the company accepts other coins – Binance Coin (BNB) , Ethereum (ETH) and Litecoin (LTC) , again thanks to integration with the Lightning Network, which provides ultra-fast and secure transactions.

    Four points of Origin Kebab are selected to test a new payment method, if everything goes well, then crypto payments will be introduced in 49 stores. Nevertheless, thanks to its experiment, the fast-food chain claims to be the first bitcoin-based restaurant in Australia.

    “Within 40 minutes after installation (in Chermsayd), we conducted the sale using Bitcoin,” Burhan Goktas, CEO of Origin Kebabs, said with great enthusiasm.

    In addition, he spoke about the possible sponsorship by Coca-Cola:

    “If we can attract a company like Coca-Cola, it will only increase confidence in the cryptocurrency ,” said Goktas.

    We urge other major networks in the country to also experiment and promote further adoption. ”
