remain in Russia

The number of Bitcoin-ATMs in Russia for two months decreased by 32% – from 75 to 51 units. This is evidenced by the results of a study of the Russian Association of cryptocurrency and blockchain (RAKIB) and the company "Nanobit", writes RBC.
Nine terminals are located in Moscow, five in Omsk and Rostov-on-Don, in Voronezh and Krasnoyarsk – three each.
47% of Bitcoin-ATMs are owned by RUSbit, 28% – by Investcoin24 and 19% – by BTC-O-Matic. The average turnover of one terminal in 2018 was estimated at $ 27,000, profit was about $ 1,800, the annual turnover of the cryptomat – $ 320,000.
As noted, all these devices have passed the full registration process in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.
In September 2018, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation confiscated 22 cryptomat of BBFpro , explaining that it was necessary to establish control over the transfer and withdrawal of funds.
In addition to the rigid position of the regulator, the growth of the crypto-ATM market in Russia is limited by the high cost of equipment, multiple cases of theft of terminals, and the absence of legislative regulation of the cryptocurrency market of the Russian Federation.
Recall that in late December, the Russian companies Nanobit and SOVA.RF launched a CryptoCoinMap service with a map of Moscow cryptomattes .
