While there are ton of cloud-based bitcoin mining trackers, everything I've seen so far is not really customizable and lacks of deep-level orchestration…— Paolo Ardoino 🍐 (@paoloardoino) August 15, 2023
According to Ardoino, the orchestrator module for Moria will be called Ork. He highlighted a significant gap in the current market, noting that while there are many cloud-based Bitcoin mining trackers available, they are not customizable and lack deep-level orchestration.
Moria aims to fill this gap by providing a customizable and powerful solution for Bitcoin mining. The software is expected to revolutionize the way Bitcoin mining is done, making it more efficient and profitable for miners.
Tether’s move into the Bitcoin mining space is an exciting development, as the company is known for its innovative approach to technology. With Moria, Tether hopes to bring a new level of sophistication to the world of Bitcoin mining.

Ardoino emphasized the software’s scalability, mentioning the use of Holepunch P2P data structures and streaming techniques, which will allow Moria to accommodate tens of millions of devices and enable dynamic grouping and orchestration.

The company is actively involved in the mining sector, including a billion-dollar investment in mining facilities in El Salvador, demonstrating its commitment to the industry. Tether is using its excess reserves and profits to invest in sustainable Bitcoin mining.
