Ondo Finance announced on March 25, 2026 that it would tokenize five exchange-traded funds managed by Franklin Templeton and make them available through Ondo Stocks. The products cover growth equities, large-cap stocks, gold, high-yield corporate debt and equity income.
The five funds are the Franklin Focused Growth ETF (FFOG), Franklin U.S. Large Cap Multifactor Index ETF (FLQL), Franklin Responsibly Sourced Gold ETF (FGDL), Franklin High Yield Corporate ETF (FLHY) and Franklin Income Equity Focus ETF (INCE). Ondo’s announcement says Franklin Templeton remains the manager of the ETFs, while Ondo provides the tokenization infrastructure and digital distribution through its platform.
The $1.7 trillion figure associated with the announcement referred to Franklin Templeton’s assets under management. It was not an investment in Ondo, the value of the five ETFs being tokenized or the amount committed to the partnership.
Ondo said its stock platform had exceeded $700 million in total value locked, $12 billion in cumulative volume and 70,000 cumulative holders since launching in September 2025. Those are company-reported platform figures and should not be read as the value of the Franklin Templeton products.
Tokenization also does not by itself give every user unrestricted access to U.S. securities or remove the legal and operational rules attached to them. Franklin Templeton’s overview of tokenized assets distinguishes among structures with different ownership records and investor rights. The announcement did not specify universal availability, guarantee uninterrupted trading in the underlying ETFs or quantify capital committed by either company.
