Aviva Investors launched a tokenized share class of its Sterling Liquidity Fund on the XRP Ledger on October 26, 2026, confirmed through a joint release with Ripple published on Monday.
The fund represents the asset manager’s largest vehicle, holding approximately 22 billion British pounds in assets under management. The integration enables investors to access the money market structure through tokenized units natively on the decentralized network.
Aviva committed an initial balance of 50 million British pounds to seed the new tokenized share class. The capital allocation accompanied the deployment of the tokenized infrastructure on the ledger.
This development follows the firm’s strategic moves from July 2026, when an institutional partnership with Ripple established the debut tokenized shares for its USD Liquidity Fund.
The two vehicles collectively account for approximately 86 million British pounds in tokenized market funds under management. The asset manager reported that this combined exposure establishes it among the largest European providers of tokenized money market instruments.
Network usage reflects growing activity across decentralized ledgers. Industry tracking for real-world asset networks ranks XRP Ledger as the ninth-largest blockchain network for tokenized assets.
The ledger accounts for $642 million in total distributed real-world asset value. The network registers approximately 2,900 unique holders across its institutional asset offerings.
Both entities stated that the initiative remains part of a multi-phase program to onboard additional regulated asset classes to XRP Ledger as market technical standards finalize.
