Blockchain Journal aims to correct material factual errors promptly and transparently. Accuracy concerns are reviewed against the article, the sources used for it, and any reliable primary documentation supplied with the request.
How to request a correction
Send the article URL, the statement you believe is inaccurate, an explanation of the issue, and supporting evidence to [email protected] or use the contact page. A correction request does not guarantee a change, but each sufficiently specific request is reviewed on its evidence.
How corrections are handled
When a material factual error is confirmed, the article is updated and an explanatory correction or update note is added when the change affects the reader’s understanding. Minor spelling, grammar, formatting, or link repairs that do not change the meaning may be corrected without a note. Headlines, captions, metadata, and social copy are reviewed when they contain the same error.
Updates, clarifications, and disputes
Developing stories may be updated as new verified information becomes available. A clarification may be added when the original wording was factually supportable but could reasonably mislead readers. Where credible sources disagree, the article may be amended to represent the dispute rather than adopting an unsupported conclusion.
Editorial independence
Correction decisions are made on editorial evidence. Advertisers, sponsors, commercial partners, and subjects of coverage do not receive a right to remove accurate reporting. Requests involving privacy, safety, copyright, or legal obligations are reviewed separately and may require additional verification.
