The Sandbox acquired the company to boost its Web3, Metaverse, and blockchain innovations and development capabilities through its access to development resources and providing access to regional talent.

Years ago, the Sandbox was known to have had a close partnership with Cualit and its co-founders- the Martin and Frederico Perez brothers. The partnership has significantly boosted Sandbox’s team development and growth in the gaming sector by providing additional resources and infrastructure from Cualit. The recent acquisition of Cualit by Sandbox will let it become ‘The Sanbox Uruguay.’ This will help expand The Sandbox global team and accelerate the growth of its ambitious metaverse ecosystem.

It plans to hire up to 90 technology professionals for The Sandbox Uruguay, making it up to 150 Sandbox employees in Latin America.
