All validators and full node operators will have to upgrade to version 0.6.0 by July 10, in order to synchronize with Binance Chain in the future.
The exchange's message specifically states that users of exchanges or wallets that support BNB tokens (such as Binance, BitMax or Gate.io) do not need to do anything until the instructions of these wallets or exchanges provide instructions.
Recall, on June 26, the planned hardfork took place in the Binance Chain test network in order to activate the Galileo update.
Then it was reported that the upgrade will affect the decentralized Binance DEX exchange. So, on the platform after the upgrade, the procedure of delisting of trading pairs will be introduced and a clearer distinction is introduced between makers and takers. Delisting will be able to initiate validators, it will be coordinated by voting.
In addition, projects will be able to block a certain part of their assets for a certain period of time, and the function of signing transactions without connecting to the network will also be implemented.
