Moscow trader Alexander Abramov, who provides the Cryptomarginal cryptographic capital management service, does not return deposits to its depositors. About this edition of BlockchainJournal reported one of the users of the service.
According to the information posted on the website, Bitcoin and Ethereum cryptocurrencies are available for investing in the trading system. The deposit amount is from $ 1000 to $ 100 thousand, the minimum investment period is one week. Trade is conducted on Bitcoin exchanges Bitfinex and BitMEX. The trader's profit is 30% of the investor's profit, and the loss does not exceed 1% of the transaction. In addition, there is a reserve fund of 5 BTC to cover unforeseen losses.
According to the user, the Cryptomarginal project has been working stably for several months, “while the investment flow covered payments”. Since early May, the service has ceased to carry out payments on deposits. Moreover, the official contact has ceased to respond to any requests and requests to withdraw funds in full.
“It is impossible to withdraw neither the interest nor the body of the deposit. Also, it cannot be closed, while the trading session should automatically stop a week after activation, ”the user wrote, adding that he had not received a response to the request in support of Cloudflare.
However, it is worth pointing out that the site provides for reinvestment of profits not only in manual, but also in automatic mode.
“Even a superficial verification of the site indicates that it was originally a fraudulent project: anonymous hosting, Tor, a minimum of information about the site itself. This is a typical crypto pyramid that paid fake interest on income (did not provide trader reporting) exactly as long as new investors came into the project, ”the user writes.
As of June 20, the user cannot withdraw deposits in the amount of 1.105 BTC, which at the time of writing the material is slightly over $ 10,300.
BlockchainJournal has requested comments from representatives of the Cryptomarginal service, but has not yet received a response.
We will remind, earlier in June, the Polish exchange Coinroom ceased operation . Users blamed the platform management for exit scam.
