The international human rights group Agora announced the collection of donations in support of the journalist of the Medusa portal Ivan Golunov. Means accept including in Bitcoins and ETH.

As the head of Agora Pavel Chikov wrote in the Telegram , over the past 24 hours the organization has received several dozen donations.

At the moment, the amount of donations in BTC, however, is quite modest – for the last day, coins totaling slightly less than $ 60 were received at the specified address . In the air during this time , only one transaction was received in the amount of 0.41 ETH.

Known for his high-profile investigations into corruption, Ivan Golunov was detained on June 6 in Moscow. According to the police, during the search he found about five grams of the drug. Golunov himself declared his innocence.

On Saturday, June 8, the Nikulinsky Court of Moscow chose him house arrest as a preventive measure. Lawyer Dmitry Djulai stated that there is no evidence of the journalist’s guilt: police officers had the opportunity to plant drugs, did not wash their hands and try nails. In addition, the detention period was violated.
