Eng claims that her initial deposit was $ 200,000, and from January to May and from July to August 2017, she traded bitcoin futures with leverage. On August 10, its assets grew to $ 700,000. At the same time, according to the claimant’s suggestion, the Fintech-owning company Reliantco decided to close its account.
At the end of August, when Ramona Eng tried to withdraw the funds in the account, the position reached $ 1.1 million. At the time of going to court, the amount rose to $ 2.5 million, and on the day of the hearing itself – to almost $ 3 million.
Now the spouse of the self-proclaimed Satoshi Nakamoto is demanding compensation for the open position on Bitcoin.
In its defense, Reliantco claims that Eng invested in futures as a professional trader, but was registered on the platform as a “retail customer.”

Recall, in April, Craig Wright sued the lawsuit on the protection of honor and dignity against the Twitter user Hodlonaut, and also offered a reward of $ 5000 in Bitcoin SV for information that will help in his identification.
