On June 28, the number of daily transactions in the Ethereum network exceeded 1 million. This happened for the first time since May 2018, Cointelegraph writes.
Thus, according to Etherscan , on Friday, June 28, 1,004,170 transactions were made on the network of this second largest cryptocurrency capitalization.
Nevertheless, this is still below the record highs of January 4, 2018, when 1,349,890 transactions were completed in one day.
From the point of view of the total value of the committed transactions, the peak figures were recorded in December 2018 – 115 million ETH. However, if we take into account the activity in the network caused by Ethereum hard forks after hacking in 2016, then the total amount sent by ETH turned out to be even higher, a little short of 200 million ETH.
Recall that in April of this year, decentralized applications (DApps) based on the Ethereum blockchain made transactions worth 776,000 ETH , which at that time was a record figure for the last four months.
