The cryptocurrency TRON (TRX) showed a sharp rise on Sunday night, January 27, and, having managed to rise in price by 15% at a certain moment, reached the 7th place in the CoinMarketCap rating.
As of 10:00 UTC, the TRX capitalization was close to $ 2.2 billion, ahead of Litecoin (LTC) and Stellar (XLM) in this indicator.
The weighted average TRX rate at the time of publication is about $ 0.30. For comparison, a week ago the coin was trading at around $ 0.24, and in early January about $ 0.20.
It is impossible, however, not to pay attention to the sharp rise in the price of the coin on January 10, when it became available for margin trading on the OKEx exchange.
Other reasons for convincing TRX indicators include the upcoming issue of the BitTorrent Token (BTT) coin. Based on the TRON protocol, it will be available as early as Monday, January 28, on the Binance Launchpad platform.
