Over the past day, the price of Bitcoin has grown by almost 9%, coming close on Saturday morning to the mark of $ 7,000. At the same time, the total capitalization of the cryptocurrency market exceeded $ 200 billion, returning to the indicators of mid-November last year.

As of 07:00 UTC on May 11, the first cryptocurrency was traded on the Bitstamp exchange at around $ 6800. Shortly before this, the rate rose to $ 6,964.

Also noteworthy is the continued increase in Bitcoin dominance – by this time, BTC accounts for 59.5% of the total market capitalization.

Leading Altcoins, meanwhile, are showing more restrained growth. So, Ethereum per day rose by 2.22% ($ 178), Litecoin ($ 78.7) rose by 2.49%, Stellar price ($ 0.094) rose by 3.77%.
