
The Financial Services Agency of Japan (FSA) has registered the Bitcoin exchange of local retail giant Rakuten. The launch of the new Rakuten Wallet site will take place in April.

Rakuten Wallet will provide virtual currency exchange services based on the local law “On Payment Services”.
“Rakuten Wallet will contribute to the development of the cryptocurrency market, as well as help to increase security and provide customers with improved services, ” said company representatives.
Recall that in August 2018, the company acquired Everyday's Bitcoin for $ 2.4 million.
In February, Rakuten announced plans to add cryptocurrency support to her application.
