The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has arrested several people suspected of running the Deep Dot Web darknet news resource. They are accused of making it easier for users to access the darknet markets where prohibited goods are sold. According to investigators, these people earned millions of dollars for posting links to .onion domains of illegal marketplaces, according to TechCrunch.

Note that at the moment on the Deep Dot Web site posted a notice that it is closed by the FBI in accordance with the order issued by the prosecutor's office of the Western District of Pennsylvania. It is also said that the operation was carried out with the participation of Europol, who coordinated actions on the side of European countries.

In this case, the Tel Aviv police carried out two arrests. One suspect was detained directly in the capital of Israel, the second – in Ashdod. It is reported that these are men of 35 and 34 years, respectively.

Earlier, in the course of an international special operation involving Europol, the German Federal Criminal Police and the German prosecution authorities, the dark wall marketplace Wall Street Market was confiscated and its alleged operators, three German citizens from the southern federal states, were arrested.

At the same time, large drug dealers who used the Wall Street Market platform were detained near Los Angeles. There were also accusations against the Brazilian resident, whom the investigation considers to be the market moderator.

In parallel, the darknet marketplace Silkkitie (or Valhalla) was closed – its servers were withdrawn in Finland.

In mid-April, the District Prosecutor's Office of Manhattan reported the arrest of three representatives of the Sinmed group, the leading seller of narcotic drugs in the largest market in the deep Internet Dream Market, which is unavailable since the end of March. Some observers suggest that he is already under the control of law enforcement.
