According to the company's blog, the new devices include the Antminer S17, Antminer S17 Pro and Antminer T17. All of them are equipped with the new 7 nm chips of the second generation BM1397 and, according to Bitmain, are the most advanced miners for mining BTC and BCH.
Antminer S17 is presented in two versions – models with 56 TH / s and 53 TH / s hashrate with two mining modes. In the normal mode, the energy efficiency of both models is 45 J / TH, in the energy-saving mode – 42 J / TH.
Antminer S17 Pro also comes in two versions – models with a capacity of 53 TH / s and a 50 TH / s with three modes of mining, offering "higher customization and the ability to switch between different settings." The energy efficiency of both models in turbo mode is 45 J / TH, in normal mode – 39.5 J / TH, in energy saving mode – 36 J / TH.

Sales of the Antminer T17 will start at a later stage, and their specifications have not been disclosed.
Sales of Antminer 17 Series will start on April 9th and will occur in two installments at different times for different regions. So, for the CIS countries they will begin at 09:00 and 19:00 Moscow time. Prices for devices have not been disclosed.
Recall that Bitmain’s plans to release new miners became known at the end of March.
“The cost of electricity for miners is very high now. Therefore, improving energy efficiency implies a significant reduction in costs and, consequently, an increase in profits. Secondly, the new devices offer a sharp increase in hashrate, optimal size and power consumption. This is especially important for mining farms, ” representatives of a Chinese company said at the time.
Also in Bitmain said that TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company) has begun work on the creation of 5-nm chips. However, while this process is in the early stages and in the near future, 7-nm chips will be the most preferable for manufacturers of mining equipment.
Oriented to the algorithm SHA256 7-nanometer ASIC chip BM1397 was introduced in February of this year.
