
The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has begun collecting public comments on the Exchange-traded Fund ( ETF) from Wilshire Phoenix Funds. It is reported by CoinDesk .
A feature of the proposed fund is that, in addition to Bitcoin, it will also be provided with treasury securities.
A rule change proposal to allow Wilshire Phoenix Funds to list its ETF on the NYSE Arca Stock Exchange was published on Tuesday, June 25th.
Thus, the agency gave a start to the 21-day period for accepting public comments, having started accepting relevant appeals despite the fact that formally the document still has to be registered in the Federal Register .
Recall that NYSE Arca and Wilshire submitted an application to the SEC for the launch of Bitcoin-ETF in late May. In the role of custodian of bitcoins located in the trust company Coinbase should act.
