The internal token of the Binance exchange has grown by more than 15% over the past 24 hours and rose on Saturday, April 20, above $ 25, thereby updating the historical maximum relative to the USD. Also, the price of BNB has risen to record levels against BTC – at some point 0.00479217 BTC was offered for a token.
The previous historical maximum of the BNB token was recorded on January 12, 2018, when the weighted average rate of the token rose to $ 24.91.
Note that over the last week BNB has grown by more than 37%, and since the beginning of the year – more than 300%. The capitalization of the coin at the time of publication was $ 3.55 billion (7th place in the CoinMarketCap rating)
Earlier this week , the launch of the main network of Binance Chain, the own blockchain of the exchange, took place. Migration of Binance Coin to the native network is scheduled for April 23 .
At the same time, some media claim that Binance, using the listing question as a carrot and stick, intends to lure the projects from the Ethereum ecosystem to its own blockchain.
