Phishing emails detected on the network in the name of Binance DEX

Malefactors of various suits do not leave attempts to take possession of Bitcoins or other cryptocurrencies of unwary users. This time, they report on the official launch of the Binance DEX decentralized exchange and ask to go to the fake website, where it is proposed to enter private keys.

A warning appeared earlier this week on Reddit . As the user tincho5 writes, he almost “bought” the received letter, which looked very similar to the present and even had an SSL certificate. Fortunately, the author noted that the letter came from the address do-not-reply @ binance. org, while the Binance Exchange is located on the .com domain.

The letter itself says that Binance DEX is ready to launch and the user has three days to complete the registration process. It is also alleged that after this period the registration will never be unavailable – another clearly implausible statement.

Commenting on the tincho5 post, the Merkle edition writes that attackers use an irrelevant list of email addresses and not only Binance clients receive letters. How many users could receive such letters and which of them was affected is currently unknown.

A curious comment is also contained under tincho5. It says that another sign by which it can be determined that this is a fake site is that at this moment the internal token of the BNB exchange did not show any significant growth, although this happened in the past after important announcements .

Recall that Binance Dex was launched in test mode at the end of February this year. The date of its launch has not yet been announced, although it is possible that this may happen before the end of this month.
