Opera introduced a new version of the browser with a built-in cryptocurrency wallet and support for Web 3

Note that users also have access to a built-in VPN service that encrypts their data and hides geographic location, and an ad blocker.

Opera Wallet is supposedly synced with a browser-based wallet for smartphones, and private keys never leave users' mobile devices.

In August last year, Opera has integrated Ethereum-wallet into the desktop version of the browser.

Already in December , a browser for Android was introduced with a built-in Ethereum wallet, support for ERC-20 and ERC-721 tokens and decentralized applications. Then the company announced its readiness for Web 3.0.
