The United States National Security Agency (NSA), whose previous activity in the cryptosphere was tracking bitcoin transactions, began to develop a cryptocurrency-resistant cryptocurrency.
Anne Neuberger, head of the NBA’s cyber security directorate, made a statement at the 10th annual Billington CyberSecurity Summit in Washington, which was also written by Bloomberg reporter William Turton.

“Anne Neuberger says the agency will offer new hardware and software standards. Work on the creation of a quantum-stable cryptocurrency is also noted, ”wrote Turton.
Additional details of the presentation appeared in Microsoft News . The publication noted that the attention of the NSA is aimed at combating online ransomware from among the geopolitical opponents of the United States, including North Korea, Iran, Russia and China.
As Anne Neuberger noted in her speech, the NSA identifies 4,000 such attacks daily, which is also the subject of the highest concern before the US presidential election in 2020.
According to her, the recently created NBA Directorate of Cybersecurity will begin work in October and will, among other things, focus on preventing interference with elections from Russia and theft of intellectual property and cyber espionage from China.
Recall that in the August report of the UN Security Council it was stated that the DPRK stole about $ 2 billion through cyberattacks on cryptocurrency exchanges and banks to further finance programs to create weapons of mass destruction. The DPRK authorities categorically denied these reports, calling them falsifications and examples of manipulations that were inherent in Nazi Germany.
Also last month the launch of the new cryptocurrency based resistant to quantum computing blokcheyna Praxxis said the creator of the first digital money system eCash David Chaum.
