A round of financing was led by Science Inc., which invests in projects at early stages of development. Zelkova Ventures, Ulu Ventures and Cross Culture Ventures also participated in the round.
According to Perrin Quarshi, the CEO and founder of RealBlocks, the funds raised will contribute to the accelerated development of the platform.
RealBlocks is an Ethereum-based platform that allows firms to raise capital through tokenized securities. Investors, in turn, can acquire real estate using cryptocurrency and fiat money. The platform also provides investors with access to offers for private investment in properties located throughout the world.
According to the founder and partner of Morgan Creek Digital, Anthony Pompiano, in the future, "all stocks, bonds, currencies and goods will be tokenized." This, he said, is the main reason why his company supported RealBlocks.
Recall that last month Morgan Creek Digital, Susquehanna, Akuna Capital, Galaxy Digital and Fidelity invested $ 4 million in BlockFi , a company that provides cryptocurrency loans in US dollars.
