However, 15 hours ago, a photo with a caption was posted on his Twitter page: “Second arrest in a week. This, I think, is a record. ”

He did not specify exactly how he managed to take photographs while in prison, but from subsequent tweets it becomes clear that events most likely occurred in the Dominican Republic, where his “ship of liberty” moored. So, he and his spouse, as well as the crew were arrested for just an hour.

“Janice was in the next cell, she just forgot how to carry the phone in secret.”

The situation, apparently, was resolved peacefully, but did not disclose the reasons for the arrest of McAfee. He only said that the authorities suspected that John McAfee was on the ship, which is very similar to the jokes in his style.

Earlier, McAfee said that the CIA was after him and his wife. He escaped from the United States at the beginning of this year, stating that he was charged with tax evasion, which he considers evil. It is worth adding that the IRS did not confirm this fact.
