Investment Application Provider Abra has announced the start of sales of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies at 6,000 retail outlets in the Philippines.
The project is being implemented in partnership with the local payment company ECPay, which has provided Abra access to its network including the popular 7-Eleven stores.

Abra wallet users can purchase cryptocurrency through the CLIQQ payment kiosk in the store or mobile application. The minimum purchase amount is 500 Philippine pesos (about $ 10), the daily limit is 100 thousand pesos (about $ 1920). A transaction fee of 2% is charged.
According to the Abra website, the wallet supports 30 digital and 50 fiat currencies.
Recall that earlier Abra, in collaboration with fintech service Plaid, added the ability to connect the application to accounts in American banks for the purchase of cryptocurrencies. At the same time, due to regulatory risks, the company introduced a number of restrictions on operations with digital currencies for US residents.
