The cost of the native token of the Telegram Open Network (TON) is in the range of $ 2.1- $ 8. The average price of the range is $ 5.1. It is reported by Forbes with reference to the report of the investment company "Aton".

So, by 2028, the price of Gram could reach $ 15- $ 30, and capitalization – $ 68- $ 135 billion, the newspaper writes. However, the calculations are absolutely theoretical, since TON has not even been launched yet, analysts warned.

Aton analysts have applied the quantity theory of money, considering Gram as a currency, and not as a security, Forbes asserts.

"It is impossible to determine the fair value of cryptocurrency (due to the limited practical use of cryptocurrency and the relatively low level of application at the current time)," – quotes the edition report.

Note that the calculations were carried out taking into account the cost of tokens on the ICO, the cumulative emission, the speed of circulation and the number of potential users. According to some forecasts, in 2021, 675 million people will use Telegram.

Forbes claims that Aton, which allegedly acquired Gram tokens in the first round of the ICO ($ 0.38), intends to resell them at the price of the second round ($ 1.33), as the company’s investors are nervous about delaying TON. In this case, the profitability of the transaction may be 250%, although the company information about such plans is denied.

This week it also became known that on July 10 a public presley of Gram will be held on the Bitcoin exchange Liquid, and a certain company Gram Asia will be the seller. The CEO of the trading platform, Mike Kayamora, then confirmed that a limited pre-sale of tokens even before the launch of the main network is in line with the Telegram strategy.

At the same time, bidding for Liquid, asserted by Cayamour, will not be available until October, and the collected funds will be kept in the stable USDC. Thus, in all likelihood, the buyers intend to offer a kind of asset futures.

Nevertheless, one of Telegram's investors, who wished to remain anonymous, soon announced that such a presale contradicted the plans of TON developers, and he hears about Gram Asia for the first time, although she called herself the largest holder of tokens in Asia.

Subsequently, in a conversation with Cointelegraph, Cayamora admitted that Telegram has no relation to the placement on Liquid: the deal was concluded solely between the exchange and Gram Asia, which allegedly is an incubator for the TON project.

He promised that Liqud will publish a detailed explanation about the pre-sale, and the price of the token will be made public one week before the start of the campaign, access to which will be restricted to residents of more than 50 countries, including the United States and Japan.

Earlier, The Block analyst expressed doubts about the expediency of buying Gram tokens as a whole, and also stressed that the possibility of placing on Liquid sounds “absolutely insane”.

TON's launch is expected on October 31st.
