In a conversation with Yahoo Finance CEO Ripple, Brad Garlinghouse said his company plans to enter into many investment contracts and acquisitions of third parties after investing in MoneyGram money transfer system.
“Our position is very strong, the business is growing rapidly, we have a good balance and I intend to take advantage of these advantages ,” said the head of Ripple.
According to him, the company is currently actively discussing "multiple potential investments and acquisitions." However, Garlinghouse did not specify what specific facilities Ripple plans to invest.
“Transactions are always very, very difficult to predict ,” he said, adding that new investments will open up new opportunities to maximize customer satisfaction.
Garlinghouse added that over the past year and a half, Ripple has invested about $ 500 million in the crypto industry.
Earlier, BlockchainJournal reported that MoneyGram started using the xRapid product from Ripple, which uses the XRP token that is popular among crypto investors. In addition, it became known about the start-up acquisition of MoneyGram shares at $ 4.10, presumably for $ 30 million.
We also recall that a petition appeared on Change.org calling for Ripple not to “merge” XRP tokens , bringing down their price.
