Greenpeace leverages aeternity blockchain to finance renewable power plants

Graduate of the aeternity acceleration program AMPnet has announced a partnership with the international environmental organization Greenpeace.

AMPnet is a platform for investing and managing energy cooperatives on a white-label basis (under its own brand partner).

Greenpeace intends to use AMPnet to finance renewable power plants around the world.

Greenpeace Named Earthboost Investment Platform This was announced by AMSnet CEO Mislav Javor at the æternity Universe One conference in Prague.

“Partnership with Greenpeace is an honor for us. We are pleased that our platform will help finance more renewable energy plants around the world , ”he said.

The AMPnet project targets the $ 50 billion market for alternative energy consumers and producers. An important participant in this market is energy cooperatives.

An energy cooperative is an association of people who produce energy for their own needs and sales. Members of the cooperative buy power plants, build solar, biogas and wind power plants, provide energy audit services.

For small energy cooperatives, developing their own programs will be too expensive. AMPnet has developed a system to automate their processes: investing, managing employees, registering customers, trading and billing.

AMPnet received a $ 100,000 investment after completing the æternity Starfleet Accelerator acceleration program.

“We talked with the æternity team before the creation of AMPnet. æternity are world-class developers, first-class status channels and a high-bandwidth blockchain. The choice of platform for creating the product was obvious , ”commented Mislav Javor, AMPnet CEO.

The next program starts on November 4, 2019 in Malta. Applications for the æternity Starfleet Accelerator can be submitted by October 20.
