In accordance with the state program "Digital Economy" to support the measures outlined in the road maps for the development of end-to-end digital technologies, by 2024 it is planned to allocate more than 280 billion rubles. This was stated by presidential aide Andrei Belousov at the Digital Industry of Industrial Russia (CIPR) forum.
The meeting, in particular, discussed targets for end-to-end digital technologies and priority subtechnologies of road maps.
The meeting participants approved road maps on quantum technologies, virtual and augmented reality, artificial intelligence and blockchain.
“The operators of the road maps together with the expert community have done very extensive and high-quality work. These documents reflect the logic of the development of key digital technologies in the horizon of the next five years and are necessary for a technological breakthrough, ”said Andrei Belousov, presidential aide and chairman of the supervisory board of the Digital Economy Autonomous Non-Profit Organization.
He also noted that the next step after the approval of the road maps will be the finalization of the mechanism to support their implementation.
It is noteworthy that an impressive amount is planned to be allocated for support measures from the budget – more than 280 billion rubles until 2024.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin approved the strategy for the development of artificial intelligence in Russia, prepared by Sberbank together with the Russian government. In particular, it assumes that Rostec should become a leader in the development of blockchain solutions, quantum sensors and the Internet of things (IoT).
