Hello! This is me – the founder of BlockchainJournal magazine Anatoly Kaplan. Today, August 25, 2019, the project marks five years, and this is our first anniversary.

In August 2014, when the first news was published on BlockchainJournal, cryptocurrencies were a fairly marginal phenomenon, which most people did not even hear about, and many of those who heard did not consider bitcoin and blockchain technology as something worthy of attention. However, dramatic changes have taken place over these five years, and the cryptocurrency industry has grown from the sandbox to an independent industry that continues to develop dynamically.

Together with the industry, our project also developed, the magazine team grew. It is unlikely that I will be mistaken if I say that in few places I have ever met such very different, talented and loving professionals, as in our team. Thanks to everyone who worked and continues to work on the project throughout this time.

From the very beginning, BlockchainJournal was looking for its place in the cryptocurrency ecosystem, and over time, the role of the magazine in it became apparent to me and the team. BlockchainJournal is primarily an interactive history of cryptocurrencies, created by thousands of talented and entrepreneurial people around the world. This story is not without mythology, adventurism, elements of the thriller and action movie.

But not even the most important and interesting story costs anything without those who read and understand it, without those who live this story. Therefore, on the anniversary date for the entire project, I want to first of all thank the readers and viewers of our channel on YouTube . After all, it is you who create the modern history of cryptocurrencies and decide how one of the most promising branches of digital technologies will develop.

During these five years, we have experienced a lot of bright events with you: the ups and downs of projects, the influx of scammers into the industry, investment fever, hacking exchanges, the arrests of cryptocurrency enthusiasts, and much more, without which it is impossible to imagine the formation of a new socio-economic paradigm, for which are Bitcoin and distributed technologies. And all the most interesting, as always, is ahead. BlockchainJournal team will be happy to go this way with you.
