The CryptoLab research portal has published a list of the most influential people in the crypto industry. It included 80 people who made a significant contribution to the development of the industry.

According to the compilers of the rating, to identify and compile a list of influencers, we used our own "algorithm using more than 19 parameters." However, specific parameters were not named.

The top ten list includes:

  • creator of Ethereum Vitalik Buterin
  • Litecoin cryptocurrency creator Charlie Lee
  • cryptophilosophy entrepreneur and preacher Andreas Antonopoulos
  • creator of the Telegram messenger and social network VKontakte Pavel Durov
  • founder of the TRON cryptocurrency project Justin Sun
  • Andreessen Horowitz co-founder and general partner Mark Andrissen
  • founder of Bitcoin.com and blockchain.info Roger Ver
  • Bit Gold cryptographer and creator Nick Szabo
  • ShapeShift CEO and founder Eric Voorhees
  • Founder of Grayscale Investments and Digital Currency Group Barry Silbert

In addition to the already mentioned Buterin and Durov, five more Russians were included in the CryptoLab list:

  • CEO and founder of Waves Alexander Ivanov (56)
  • CEO and co-founder of MobileGo Sergey Sholom (74)
  • creator of KICK Ecosystem Anti Danilevsky (76)
  • RadiusGroup CEO Dmitry Marinichev (77)
  • EXMO Cryptocurrency Leading Analyst Pavel Lerner (78)

It is noteworthy that the list also indicates the number of subscribers of each person on Twitter, as well as the total capitalization of the projects led by her. So, the capitalization of Vitalik Buterin's projects is $ 32.5 billion, Charlie Lee – $ 7.4 billion.

Recall that in July 2018, Vitalik Buterin entered the cryptocurrency version of the ranking of influential young businessmen from Fortune magazine – 40 Under 40. Then the founder of Ethereum took the second line of the list, losing only to the CEO of the American exchange Coinbase Brian Armstrong.
