Cryptocurrency tickers will lead to international standards

The Association of National Numbering Agencies (ANNA) has created a digital asset working group. She intends to assign cryptocurrencies and tokens with an international securities identification code (ISIN), according to a press release .

“The emergence of digital assets as a new investment class has made it important to have high-quality standardized data as the basis of the token market,” ANNA said.

In particular, the working group will focus on identifying common tickers for digital currencies.

ANNA is confident that the standardization of names and tickers of crypto assets will help develop the market and recognize their status.

Recall, scientists at the Cambridge University business school came to the conclusion that it is the lack of classification and a coordinated approach of world regulators to the crypto industry that prevents its development.
