Craig Wright revealed some details about the blind trust for 1 million BTC

A senior researcher at nChain, Craig Wright, who for several years has been trying to prove to the community that it was he who created Bitcoin, revealed some details regarding the Tulip Trust, a blind trust that allegedly holds 1 million BTC. He provided this information to a federal court in the Southern District of Florida within the framework of the sensational Kleiman v. Wright process.

Thus, in the edited court documents dated May 8, Wright’s alleged ownership of the funds in the trust is stated, and a trust management scheme is also described. Access to the Tulip Trust can only be provided by all trustees together, and Wright allegedly did not communicate with one of them for several years.

The documents also say that there is a second blind trust – Tulip Trust II, based on the Seychelles. The trustee of this organization is Equator Consultants, and the main beneficiaries are Craig Wright and his wife Ramona Watts (aka Ramona Eng). Nothing is known about the assets of the second trust.

Note that the Tulip Trust allegedly stores bitcoins that Wright namainil and bought from 2009 to 2011. For the first time it became known about the trust in 2015, when a document appeared on the Internet, allegedly written by computer forensic scientist and mathematician Dave Kleiman. It was he who allegedly created a trust for the storage of 1,1100,111 BTC, whose trustees should have served at least three people, but no more than seven.

If you believe the words of Wright, stated in the documents that he signed, then the trustees were personally he, Dave Kleiman and someone Uen Nguyen, with whom nChain, a senior researcher, allegedly had no contacts for several years. The trustees also list the Australian company Panopticrypt Pty Ltd., which is in the process of liquidation, an unknown firm based in the Seychelles, and the British company CO1N liquidated in 2017, whose director until 2016 was Nguyen.

The last trustee is Satoshi Nakamoto himself (Craig Wright’s name is in brackets), who allegedly holds identifiers for PGP keys.

The defendant also claims that the bitcoins mined under his leadership from 2011 to 2013 by employees of HighSecured and Signia Enterprises in the interests of Tulip Trust are currently unavailable. He added that some high-level representatives of HighSecured were arrested in 2015.

Once again, Wright stressed that the funds in Tulip Trust are protected by Shamir’s cryptographic scheme of sharing the secret, which decryption requires the participation of all trustees.

Dave Kleiman himself died in 2013, and his brother, Ira Kleiman, is suing Wright.

Recall that earlier media and legal experts reported that Craig Wright could face criminal responsibility for contempt of court if he does not provide information about his Bitcoin capital.

In this case, Wright is personally obligated to testify in the United States on June 28

It is noteworthy that photos of Craig Wright appeared in the network, allegedly made in Colombia. It is alleged that the authorities officially recognized him Satoshi Nakamoto. In the hands of Wright you can really notice the certificate.

What is the legal force of this document is still unknown, but the network already had a laugh at Wright.
