Craig Wright, a senior researcher at nChain, who continues to insist that he is the true creator of Bitcoin, again got into an unpleasant situation. Within the framework of the sensational case of Kleiman v. Wright about the alleged embezzlement of 1 million BTC, an Australian businessman submitted a correspondence with the computer forensic scientist and mathematician Dave Kleiman, which allegedly took place in 2012. However, in the end, it turned out to be fake.

A fake key was used to generate a PGP signature, and the correspondence itself was most likely fabricated in early 2014, after Kleiman died.

I should have mentioned, he died from the dead, this email wasn't from him.

"If Dave suddenly didn't come to life, this letter was not from him."

Subsequently, Wright was forced to exclude the correspondence from the evidence, as evidenced by the judicial documentation.

Information about the possible involvement of Kleiman in creating Bitcoin first appeared in 2015, when Gizmodo and Wired editions called the Australian businessman and academician Craig Wright the possible founder of cryptocurrency hiding under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto.

WizSec specialists then analyzed Kleiman’s claims and concluded that neither Wright nor the mathematician were more likely to ever have owned such a number of bitcoins.

Earlier, the summons in the case of Kleiman v. Wright was given to ex-developer Bitcoin Core, founder of Bloq and creator of cryptocurrency Metronome Jeff Garzik.

The court demanded to provide any documents that may relate to the case, as well as to provide evidence that the mathematician Dave Kleiman, who died in 2013, was the creator of Bitcoin Satoshi Nakamoto, if any. Garzika was also obliged to provide the court with information about Bitcoin mining in the period from January 1, 2009 to April 2013.
