A senior researcher at nChain, an Australian entrepreneur, Craig Wright, designed the copyright for the whitepaper and bitcoin source code . This is evidenced by two entries on the website of the US Copyright Office.
The publications noted that Wright under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto created two electronic files containing “text” and “computer program” in 2008 and 2009, respectively.
Note that the registration of copyright is not equivalent to the official patent. Anyone can submit an application to the Copyright Office, the validity of the claims in this case is not verified.
Registering a copyright is just filing a form. The Copyright Office doesn’t investigate the claim of the claim; they just register it. Unfortunately there is no official way to challenge a registration. If there are competing claims, https://t.co/YA70ALpG1Y

“Unfortunately, there is no official way to contest registration. If there are competing applications, the office will register all of them, ”said Jerry Brito, director of the crypto-legal organization of the Coin Center.
Thus, it is now possible to dispute the authorship of Craig Wright in court, after the copyright on the same intellectual property has been processed.
Recall that in May, Craig Wright once again suffered a fiasco in an attempt to prove that he is the creator of Bitcoin. “The address list of Satoshi Nakamoto,” which the entrepreneur submitted to the court in the framework of the proceedings with the Kleimanov family, turned out to be a copy-paste.
