Wright tried to prove to the court that Kleiman did not have rights to the declared stake in W&K Info Defense Research, as the company allegedly had other partners, and also announced that there was some agreement in which Kleiman refused his share.
The court found these arguments unconvincing, accusing the Australian entrepreneur of the inaccuracy of the information provided.
“The case is replete with examples in which the defendant made conflicting statements while testifying in court. When assessing the arguments cited, the court simply cannot consider them reliable, ”said Judge Beth Bloom.
She stressed that because of these contradictions, the court would not be able to take into account the arguments of Craig Wright as a basis for challenging his competence in this case.
“What a complicated web we are weaving when deception leads us into our quagmire,” the judge quoted the couplets of Walter Scott commenting on Wright’s statements.
It is noteworthy that the founder of the Bitmessage messenger Jonathan Warren, invited to the court as an expert, confirmed that the correspondence between Wright and Kleiman, which the Australian submitted to the court, is a fake.

Recall that in February 2018, Ira Kleiman, the brother of the late computer forensic scientist and mathematician Dave Kleiman, who is associated with the creation of bitcoin, sued Craig Wright, accusing the latter of misappropriating about 1.1 million BTC, which allegedly belonged to Kleiman.
During a previous trial in late June, Craig Wright was unable to provide evidence to the court that he had access to coins associated with the creator of digital gold.
Wright also announced his readiness to abandon the 1 million BTC that are in the Tulip Trust blind trust and transfer them to educational needs for the poorest people on the planet. True, he will not be able to do this until 2020, allegedly due to the lack of Dave Kleiman's signature and information that was known only to him.
