Lawsuits against singer Nikolai Baskov and TV anchor Olga Buzova have been sent to the Kuntsevo court of Moscow. Dmitry Ruzhnikov, a resident of Anapa, is demanding to recover about 1 million rubles from them for participating in the Cashbury advertising, TASS reports.
According to the plaintiff, he invested about 880 thousand rubles in the Cashbury company. A month later, the company, recognized by the Central Bank of Russia as a financial pyramid, collapsed and all invested savings were lost.
“I have cerebral palsy, the first group of disability, I had to go to Israel for treatment, I put all the money I got there … Now I don’t have anything to go to court in Moscow because I don’t have money anymore, ” said Dmitry Ruzhnikov.
The victim’s lawyer, Timur Marshani, noted that in addition to the funds invested by his client, they intend to recover 100-200 thousand rubles of moral damage from Buzova and Baskov.
“When they advertised this“ Cashbury ”, they said that they themselves invest money in this company and get a good profit. Thus, they associated themselves with “Cashbury” … Therefore, they should be responsible for the involvement of citizens in this pyramid, ”said the lawyer.
In turn, to file a lawsuit against the owner of the “Cashbury” foundation Arthur Vardanyan Marshani and his client are not going to.
“Arthur Vardanyan is a fake character, an actor, it’s useless to prepare a lawsuit, ” he explained.
Earlier, representatives of the Central Bank said that the amount of damage from the activities of the pyramid "Cashbury" could be about three billion rubles .
