The head of the Binance cryptocurrency exchange, Changpeng Zhao, is confident that the bill on digital assets will be adopted in Russia in the near future, and he called the president of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, the most influential person in the blockchain space. According to RBC , Zhao announced the possibility of the exchange providing user information to Russian regulators.
“As a rule, we do not massively provide information to any regulator. But in individual cases, yes. Therefore, if you are engaged in crime, you do not need to register for Binance, ” said the head of Binance.
Previously announced ruble support at Binance will be provided through third-party services, Zhao said.
The CEO of the exchange said that in the future the company plans to start issuing debit cards tied to an account on the platform.
He is confident that Binance will be the next Amazon or Facebook.
Zhao also mentioned the creator of Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin. According to the head of Binance, the developer will become one of the most influential people in the industry if Ethereum 2.0 is successfully launched.
Recall that earlier, Changpeng Zhao hinted at adding Binance to SegWit support.
