Canaan Creative unveils new ASIC miner for Ethereum

Chinese mining equipment manufacturer Canaan Creative has unveiled a new ASIC miner for Ethereum. This is reported by Cryptoslate .

According to the documentation, the new Canaan device runs on the Ethash algorithm and surpasses other equipment in terms of W / MHs (watts per megahash per second) by 5-7 times.

Canaan is not a miner developer, but sells it in China.

“It's a little hard to explain, but this product was not created by Canaan engineers. It is not an official company product on a global scale, but is sold by our team in China, ”emphasized Canaan.

Recall that last year, Canaan competitor Bitmain launched sales of ASIC miners for Ethereum.
