based debt instrument to the listing

In the Bloomberg Terminal computer system used by professional financial market participants, debt instruments will appear on the Ethereum blockchain. It is reported by CoinDesk .

The tool will be provided by Cadence, which will thus become the first supplier of financial instruments on the blockchain to receive a global financial instrument identifier (FIGI).

Each FIGI record contains data on interest rate, repayment schedule, and instrument type. In the case of Cadence, it also includes the address of the Ethereum smart contract.

“We create an immutable register that stores performance data at the asset level at all stages of their life cycle … This can help predict the obtained data on asset performance, and each counterparty in a private credit operation can refer to the exact price, structure and investments”, – Saved CEO Cadence Nelson Chu.

It should be noted that the company has already released eight instruments with a maturity of one, three and nine months, as well as an automatic renewal function. All of them will be available at Bloomberg Terminal.

Recall that last year the Huobi exchange index was added to the Bloomberg Terminal system , and the Bloomberg Galaxy Crypto Index was launched to track the market capitalization of the ten most liquid cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Monero, Ripple, ZCash, Bitcoin Cash, EOS, Litecoin , Dash and Ethereum Classic.
