
BitPay cryptocurrency processing service will add support for Ripple's XRP token by the end of this year. This was reported in the official Ripple Twitter account.

According to media reports, BitPay has partnered with Ripple Xpring , a business unit that engages business partners in the use of XRP and the company's blockchain.
Thanks to this collaboration, business representatives will be able to accept XRP for payments through the BitPay trading platform. BitPay prepaid card and wallet holders will also be able to store and pay with XRP tokens.
At the same time, Ripple presented the Xpring software development package, including tools for working with the XRP protocol and the Ripple Interledger Protocol (ILP), for integrating payments in XRP into any application.
