The international blockchain-company Bitfury Group has entered into a partnership with HadePay payment processing. This is reported in the company's blog .

According to Bitfury representatives, thanks to the cooperation with HadePay, bitcoin payments using the Lightning Network (LN) second level network will be available to merchants from the USA, Canada and the EU.

HadePay has integrated the Peach Merchant API supporting LN, which is designed to make payments fast, convenient and inexpensive. In Bitfury, they noted that after receiving a payment, merchants can instantly convert Bitcoins to any other currency.

HadePay processing works on a “hybrid” model, processing both fiat and cryptocurrency payments. The platform is “friendly” with large services like PayPal, Apple Pay and Square.

“Bitcoin has always been a good and inexpensive alternative to fiat payments. Thanks to the new partnership, BTC payments have become as convenient as Fiat services. This will facilitate the massive adoption of cryptocurrency in the commercial sphere , ”said Brian Nichols, CEO and founder of HadePay.

Infrastructure Lightning Network continues to grow rapidly. So, over the past 30 days the number of billing channels has grown by almost 50%. Also during this time, the network capacity has increased by 54%.

The number of LN channels is approaching 40,000, and the network capacity has exceeded 1000 BTC
