Bitcoins stolen in 2016 from the Bitfinex exchange have again set in motion. So, about 30 BTC were moved (more than $ 314 thousand at the exchange rate at the time of writing).

This year, several cases of the transfer of these coins have already been recorded.

In April , 550 bitcoins came into motion . It is noteworthy that this happened shortly before the New York State Attorney General accused Bitfinex of concealing the loss of $ 800 million and covering it with Tether Limited reserves.

Note that litigation between the state authorities and Bitfinex continues to this day.

In addition, in June , five wallet transactions were recorded under the name Bitfinex Hack 2016. Then about 170 military-technical cooperation was moved.

Prior to this, in 2017, more than 800 bitcoins stolen from the exchange, set in motion and ended up at other sites.
