In particular, the transition will take place on Thursday, July 4, and some operations with USDT will be unavailable for 30 minutes.
After its completion, ERC20 addresses will be used by default. Users will be able to make deposits in USDT to OMNI addresses that were created before, however, they will no longer be available for them.
CEO Binance Changphen Zhao explained this by the small number of those who use OMNI addresses.
Reason: Omn is low. We follow user demand. https://t.co/EfL5XzgqVq

We will remind, earlier Binance announced the release of its own steyblkoinov. It is expected that this will happen in the next two months.
