The exchange has been verified and certified by the international classification society DNV GL and the UK Accreditation Service (UKAS).
In order to receive the certificate, Binance was tested on 114 criteria in 14 categories, including security policy, asset management, security of operations, acquisition, development and maintenance of information systems.
“Security has always been the highest priority for Binance and our users, and we are proud that Binance security management has been recognized by respected DNV and UKAS ,” said Exchange Head Zhao.
Recall that in May Binance was subjected to a hacker attack , as a result of which 7000 BTC was stolen ($ 40.5 million at that time). After hacking, the exchange updated its security system, the changes affected the API, two-factor authentication and the process of confirming the withdrawal of funds.
