At the moment we are talking only about the command line interface (CLI), which allows you to place an order for an atomic swap, but for this you need to have on hand a full Beam node and a full Bitcoin / Litecoin node.
Technical documentation for the implementation of atomic swaps is available here .
In the new version of the Beam desktop wallet, the button “ Where to buy the Beam ” is now available, and users have the opportunity to edit addresses and generate QR codes for them.
Recall that in April , the iOS wallet was introduced , after which Beam became available on all major desktop and mobile platforms, but at the moment the project does not support Mac OS Catalina.
Earlier, the developers reported that judging by the growth of the Russian-speaking Beam community in Telegram , as well as by appeals to the support service, the largest influx of new users comes from Russia, Ukraine and other countries with the Russian-speaking community.
