Auctionity , which conducts classic English blockchain bidding auctions, has announced plans to use distributed registry technology to sell real items from the auction. This is stated in the promotional video of the project.
“Decentralized auctions are possible not only for digital assets. In the future, any item can be tokenized, which means it can be sold on Auctionity. Our goal is to combine online auctions with live ones. The buyer should be able to bid via smartphone in Fiat or cryptocurrency, and it does not matter whether it is in the auction room or on the other side of the globe, ”said Tristan Colombe, founder of Domraider, whose team is working on the development and promotion of the Auctionity project.
Currently, Auctionity can only offer collectible digital tokens (NFT, non-fungible tokens ). Nevertheless, the project states that this is "only the first step towards the widespread use of decentralized English auctions."

Recently, the project has updated the interface. Representatives of the team are confident that the new design will be able to "better represent auctioneers from around the world."
Earlier, Auctionity joined the Non-Fungible Alliance under the auspices of 0xcert . The goal of the alliance is to promote and create favorable conditions for the use of NFT.
Auctionity also announced a creative competition in conjunction with the art platform KnownOrigin .
