In the Chinese province of Sichuan as a result of heavy rains, floods and landslides began, as a result of which a large mining farm was destroyed. A video of the incident has already been posted online.

Some users questioned the authenticity of the video, as last year there were also floods in the province that seriously damaged the miners. Nevertheless, the information was confirmed by Red Lee, the founder of the 8btc media portal.

Note that on August 19 the bitcoin hashrate updated its absolute historical maximum at around 82.5 EH / s. Since then, the figure has dropped to 77.4 EH / s, but it is not known whether this is due to the incident.
Previously, police closed a large mining farm and confiscated 4,000 devices in Zhenjiang, in the eastern Chinese province of Jiangsu. The reason was the theft of electricity for 20 million yuan ($ 3 million), the largest in the history of the region and one of the largest in the whole country.
